Entries must be received by June 1, 2007, in order to be eligible for the 7% studio rebate. Rebate will be 10% for Studios competing 2 consecutive years.
Entries received after June 15, 2007, must be paid by certified check and include the 10% late fee.
Performance schedule will be available 2 weeks prior to the start of Nationals.
Contestants who did not qualify at a regional competition must enter the "Last Chance to Shine" National Qualifier. This event will take place just prior to the start of Nationals: overall high score awards will not be given.
Contestants must enter the same category at Nationals that they entered at Regionals, however they may change their music or routine.
Contestants should enter with the age they performed at Regionals.
Groups may enter a smaller division; however a duet/trio may not enter as a solo. Substitutions are allowed, as long as the group remains in the same age division that they qualified at Regionals.

Shooting Star contestants are welcome to compete at the National Finals but they are not eligible for Ultimate Awards, The Ultimate Challenge, Title Pageant, or Cash Awards.
Shooting Star High Score Awards will be given and the highest scoring group in the Shooting Star Division will be invited for an encore performance at The Ultimate Challenge.
Any Contestant who competed at a Regional competition in the Shooting Star Division may choose to compete in the All Star Division at the National Finals.
All Star contestants must compete on the day and time assigned to be eligible for High Score Awards, The Ultimate Challenge, and Cash Awards.

Title contestants will perform their title solo during the regular solo portion of the competition and will be eligible for High Score Awards.
The pageant will include an opening number, performed by all of the contestants. Each dancer should bring black dance pants and black jazz shoes, tops will be provided. The contestants will re-perform their solos, introduce themselves, and model an age appropriate dress. Twelve and under finalist may wear a short party dress and 13 and over finalists should wear a semi formal dress or gown. Male dancers should wear a suit or tux.
Title awards include trophies for 1st runner up and 2nd runner up in each division. Title winners in each division will receive a crown, sash, trophy, $100 cash award and a gift certificate for a free solo entry and any 2008 Regional Competition.


First, second and third place high score awards will be given in each age division,
Mini 4 - 6, Petite 7 - 9, Junior 10 - 12, Teen 13 - 15, Senior 16 - 20.
A studio may have more than one routine place in a division for High Score Awards, however and soloist, or duet/trio with the same performers, may only place once.

Divisions may be combined if there are fewer than 10 entries in a division. If there are fewer than 10 entries in a division, gift certificates to a 2008 Regional Competition may be given
instead of cash awards.

All Cash awards will be given to the studio.

The top 5 routines in the Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen, and Senior "Small Group Division" and the top 5 routines in the Mini, Petite, Junior, Teen, and Senior "Large Group, Line and Production Division" will be chosen to compete in The Ultimate Challenge. These groups will be announced at the conclusion of the appropriate awards ceremony.
In each age divisions, a studio may only have one dance in the "Small Group Division" and one dance in the "Large Group, Line and Production Division". (Example-a studio may have 1 mini small group and 1 mini large group, line, or production, 1 petite small group and 1 petite large group, line, or production, 1 junior small group and 1 junior large group, line or production, 1 teen small group and 1 teen large group, line, or production, and 1 senior small group and 1 senior large group, line, or production.)
The Ultimate Challenge winners will be named in the 12 and Under Small Group Division, 12 and Under Large Group, Line and Production Division and in the 13 and Over Small Group Division and 13 and Over Large Group, Line and Production Division. A trophy, $250 cash award and $250 gift certificate to a 2008 Regional Competition will be awarded to each of the 4 winners.

The Ultimate Stellar Award will be given to the top scoring performance at The Ultimate Challenge.
The winning entry will receive a special trophy, $500 gift certificate to the 2008 National Finals and will be featured in our 2008 regional programs.
